Senior Cloud Engineer (f/x/m)

YOUR MISSION

Lead the architectural and design decisions for product components in alignment with our strategic vision and technological standards.
Take ownership of product component and drive the development of new features.
Develop a robust cloud architecture using state-of-the-art technologies such as TypeScript, NestJS, Gitlab CI/CD and Terraform.
Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, tools, trends and methodologies to enhance products and practices.
Define and advocate for cloud technologies and technical cloud architectures to address quality standards, monitoring, security and maintainability.
Ensure seamless software release and delivery on our cloud-based platform through implementing GitOps principles.
Continuously shape customer-facing APIs.

Your profile

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related discipline or equivalent experience.
Capable to structure complex problems and the ability to identify and counteract potential obstacles.
Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, including:
- Proficiency in a major hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, GCP), with a preference for GCP.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), with Terraform experience being a plus.
- Strong affinity & understanding of automation tools and CI/CD methodologies to streamline development and deployment processes.
- Experience with serverless architectures and understanding of essential cloud infrastructure aspects like VPC, IAM, API Design, and Database management.
Skilled in full-stack JavaScript development, particularly with TypeScript; familiarity with React and NestJS is beneficial.
Affinity towards well-crafted software through professional software engineering practices.
Proactive attitude and a growth mindset, keen to learn and adopt new technologies.
Proven ability to lead and make informed decisions in technology architecture and design.

Compensation: For this position, the monthly base salary we offer ranges between € 4.400,-/gross and € 5.400,-/gross. The salary is paid out 14x per year, including an all-in contract based on 38,5 hours/week. Your final salary will be in line with your qualifications and experience!
